There is nothing that makes me feel quite so honored as a photographer than getting to photograph multiple weddings for one family. With the Musinsky family, I hit the trifecta, I photographed Katie's wedding this past Saturday, her brother Chris's wedding in 2012 and her sister Sarah's wedding in 2010. I am SO thankful they have trusted me to photograph all of their weddings and invited me back into their special moments yet again! Thanks guys! It is always so fun to see familiar faces again and again!
Katie and Ryan's wedding day was just gorgeous. I had never photographed a wedding at Olbrich Gardens in Madison and it is just so lovely! Especially right now with all the flowers in bloom. And it was crazy...it is definitely crowded, but everywhere we went to do pictures, people just kind of disappeared and gave us space to do their portraits, which was so sweet!
Katie and Ryan planned out lots of time for photos all throughout the gardens and around the capitol. It was lots of fun trekking around with them and their wedding party to hit up all the hot spots. And my favorite part of the day was when Katie and Ryan snuck away from the dance party for a bit for intimate pictures of the two of them, right when the light was at it's best. Not only did they get more lovely couple photos, but they also got to be together and take time for each other admit the busyness of the day. Love it!
Thank you to Katie and Ryan for having me be a part of your day! And thank you to my awesome friend Jessica Brandau for second shooting for me. Some of her images are included above, where noted.
