I know that I’ll run the risk of sounding like a broken record when I say that I absolutely love weddings full of emotion, connection, love and happiness. But it is so very true.
And when those weddings are held at lovely venues like Brighton Acres, and include MORE than lovely people like Michelle and Josh and their family and friend, then those weddings just fill me up (to the brim) with happiness!
I said it when I photographed their engagement session, but Michelle and Josh are just wonderful people. I loved seeing them shining with love and happiness on their wedding day. They made me feel like an old friend with a camera, and the whole day was just amazing.
Something I so appreciated about Michelle and Josh (and Michelle’s maid of honor Laura who helped in the decision process) is that Michelle and Josh were willing to be flexible in their timeline for golden hour photos. Sometimes the best light occurs when something else is “supposed” to be happening in a wedding day…. in the case of Michelle and Josh’s day it was right when they were going to start the toasts. BUT…for those that know me, and know light, I ADORE taking photos during that gorgeous lovely light, and the images made during that time CANNOT be duplicated in any other light. They just can’t. So it is ALWAYS worth it to take a small bit of time to do these photos!!
Thank you SO much to Michelle and Josh for trusting me with your memories! You guys are THE BEST!
And a HUGE thank you to Brianna Popp (of Alec & Brianna Photography) for shooting with me (and being all around awesome!)
