If there is anything I love more than an absolutely amazing wedding, it is an absolutely amazing wedding of people that I love.... like some of my dear family members. I was so excited and honored to travel to North Carolina for Kaitlin and Hercules's wedding day. I adore spending time with family, and adore capturing meaningful wedding day celebrations, and so when I get to combine both of those two loves, I am just over the moon.
Hercules and Kaitlin held their wedding ceremony on a Thursday morning (yay for thinking outside the box!) at Sawyer Family Farmstead, and amazing venue tucked into the mountains of North Carolina. Every single part of their day was perfect, and thought out with their family and friends, and fellowship in mind. Their ceremony was so personal (Kaitlin’s dad, my Uncle Greg preformed their ceremony after walking Kaitlin down the aisle), they had a very touching moment of communion, their parent’s prayed over them… all while guests overlooked them and an amazing view.
Then everyone got to go down to a reception, that was out of this world amazing in ambience. I don’t usually blog too much in terms of “details”, because….I’ll be honest….I am way more into the emotion of the day than the centerpieces and bouquets. BUT, when I walk into a reception venue and get HONEST TO GOODNESS GOOSEBUMPS over it all (no joke. I did), I just have to share. ESPECIALLY when all of it was pulled together by Kaitlin, her sisters and family, then you KNOW I was swooning!!!! And….. as if that wasn’t enough, Kaitlin made each and every guest a mug. Made them. ALL. EACH UNIQUE. Seriously? Can you even imagine the labor of love?
The entire celebration was so much fun, there was so much fellowship, so much love, and so much joy, just absolutely radiating out of their whole entire day. I seriously could have kept on photographing it all over and over, and OVER again!
Thank you so much Kaitlin and Hercules! I am SO unbelievably happy for you, and I know God will bless your marriage.
