You know what I love? My family. Shooting family weddings. Brides walking barefoot down the road of their family home. People pulling together to bring an amazing wedding together. Intimate ceremony locations. Acoustic guitar bringing the bride down the aisle. My daughter as a flower girl. Peonies in bouquets. Flowing dresses. The groom serenading the bride with a song he wrote for her during the ceremony. Fun wedding parties. Walking with the bride and groom through hiking paths. Couples that truly love each other. Couples you know will put God at the center of their marriage. Meaningful weddings. Dances that move outside the reception venue. People that don't let heat get to them (90 degrees on your wedding day? no problem!). Donuts instead of cake. Watermelon. Babies, lots and lots of adorable babies, and kids. Sunlit drenched pictures with the bride and groom. Crazy dancing. Cousins doing the worm, and KILLING. IT. (you rock Corrie!) Being with people I love.
My cousin Noel married her love Danny this past weekend. And guys, it was all of the above and more. You KNOW I was honored to be a part of their day. It was amazing. Thank you both for entrusting me with your memories. I expect lots of game playing, zip lining, cliff jumping into the river and trail running in our future. Love you guys!
