Wisconsin Wedding Photographer // Oh, 2015 // Story Telling Images

The weddings I was honored to photograph in 2015 were amazing. Just going through these images I was again blown away that I got to spend one of the most meaningful days of their lives with 16 lovely couples. It really was a year of intense joy and emotion, and I am proud of the images that came from each and every wedding. I am so blessed by the trust, kindness, and enthusiasm all of my couples gave to me this year. It was a great one. Enjoy this (HUGE) round up of images from the year. I couldn't narrow it down…believe me, I tried! THANK you to all of my  wonderful clients!

This next image, may be--to me at least---the most important image I created all year. As many of you know, I lost my mother this year, and I have found that images with her in them have become so very dear. My wonderful bride Emily lost her father just weeks after my mother died, and only months after her wedding. I am so very glad that I got images like this next one for her. I will never ever forget their father daughter dance. It was one of the most emotional moments I've ever experienced at a wedding. Hug your loved ones tight, everyone. And take pictures (or have them taken) …lots of them.

Looking through these images makes me so very excited for my 2016 wedding season. I am seriously thrilled to get to celebrate with all my couples again this year. I just counted and I have photographed 202 weddings so far, which is mind-boggling to me. I am so thankful to all the wonderful people who trust their wedding memories to me, and who let me into a piece of their lives. And I can't wait to do it all again starting this summer! (or before, anyone up for booking a last minute winter/spring wedding? I'm all for it!)
