A couple of months ago my good friend Dani Stephenson told me about an AWESOME concept she had for a wedding style shoot. Shooting with Dani is always fun and her ideas and inspiration was out of this world, so OF COURSE I jumped on board when she invited me to photograph with her. It was such a fun and lovely shoot, bursting full of lovely inspiration for brides and grooms. Thank you so much to Dani for inviting me along and to all the amazing people involved in this shoot. (Make sure to scroll down under the pictures for more details on all the FABULOUS vendors involved in this shoot.....)
the absolutely amazing people involved in this shoot:
Holli Roll of Tres Chic Salon (Wisconsin Dells) did the amazing hair styles for this shoot. She totally knew exactly how to make Cristina's hair and look fit the dresses. So lovely!
Wild Apples (Baraboo) provided the flowers and greenery for the shoot. I've had a few brides who have used them for their weddings, and you HAVE to check them out. I am always super duper excited when I hear that they are the florists for a wedding. Their vision is amazing. I absolutely adored what they came up with for this shoot!
Kimberly FtizSimons was the amazing invitation designer. Her letterpress invitations and designs are to-do-for. I am a sucker for lovely letterpress, and oh man, you should have felt thes lovely invitations, menu cards and seating cards she designed for this shoot. PLEASE click on over to her site... lovely invitations are the first "taste" people get of your wedding, so they are definitely important!
We were beyond lucky to get some sample Saja Gowns for the shoot. Oh my goodness. Talk about head-over-heels. I am totally in love with the entire Saja collection. Seriously, they are so soft and flowing, and have such a lovely design and movement. Every time Cristina put on a new gown, we literally gasped. I adore how unique and different from the norm they are. I want to get married all over again just to wear one!
All of the amazing tablescape and cake stand, and all the props were provided by A La Crate Vintage Rentals (Madison). Seriously...what a gem of a place. I wish they were around when I got married. Seriously, ANYTHING you could possibly need to make your wedding vision a reality, they have! The renting process is super easy, and their shop will blow you away. It did to us. You NEED to take a peek at them if you are getting married!
I had no clue a place like the Baraboo Arts Center existed nearbye. What a cool venue for anyone getting married. I absolutely adore exposed brick and the feeling that you can seriously mold it into any look you want. What a great space!
a huuuuge thank you to our amazing couple Cristina and Nick... gah! Can you believe the gorgeousness. It was like these two were made to model. Plus they are a real life married couple and completely adorable and in love. It was SO FUN to work with them again! And another huge shout out and thank you to Allisa Rooker who helped us out immensley that day. What a sweetheart! We couldn't have done it without her!
